- Account info: email, (optional) phone, password hash, display name, avatar.
- Content you create: posts, images, reviews, direct messages, appointment details.
- Usage & device data: login records, IP, device/browser type — for security and abuse prevention.
- (Optional) location: the postal code you enter, used to sort "clinics near me."
- Sensitive personal information — only with your separate consent: the face photo used for AI Skin analysis and the resulting skin scores. That consent is separate from registration and revocable anytime (see §5).
To: provide and maintain the service; when you've enabled personalization, recommend relevant content based on your interests and (if any) AI Skin results — this ranking is invisible to you and can be turned off in Settings; keep the platform safe and moderated; send service-related notifications; and meet legal obligations. We do not use your personal information for third-party ad targeting.
Legal bases (GDPR): we rely on — performance of a contract to provide the service; our legitimate interests in security and product improvement; and your consent for sensitive personal information (face and skin data) and marketing notifications, which you may withdraw at any time.
We do not sell your personal information. We share only: with a clinic when you actively book (the minimum needed to complete the booking); with service providers necessary to operate (e.g. cloud hosting, email delivery) under contract; and where required by law or necessary to protect user safety.
All AI inference (skin analysis and content embeddings) runs on awwBeauty's own infrastructure — no third-party AI service, no cross-border transfer.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in (awb_access / awb_refresh) and to remember basic preferences. We do not embed third-party advertising trackers. You can clear cookies in your browser, but you'll then need to sign in again.
Our servers are located in the United States. If you access the platform from the EU / UK or elsewhere, your personal information is transferred to the United States for processing. For such transfers we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or another mechanism recognized by applicable law.
To be clear: all AI skin-analysis and content-embedding inference runs entirely on awwBeauty's own infrastructure — no third-party AI service is involved.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above: account information is kept while your account exists and is hard-deleted after closure plus a 7-day cooling-off period; AI Skin face images are deleted after 30 days, and score JSON is kept up to 365 days for trend comparison.
Data is encrypted in transit with TLS; passwords are salted-hashed, never stored in plaintext. No system is perfectly secure; if a data incident affects your rights, we will notify you promptly as required by law.
You have the following rights over your personal information:
- Access & rectification — view and correct your profile.
- Portability — export your data.
- Erasure — close your account (with a 7-day cooling-off period, then hard deletion); withdrawing biometric consent for AI Skin deletes the face images and analysis records.
- Restriction / objection — including turning off personalized recommendations in Settings at any time.
- Withdraw consent — for consent-based processing, at any time, without affecting processing before withdrawal.
- (GDPR) Lodge a complaint — you may complain to the data protection supervisory authority where you live.
- (CCPA) You may know, delete, and opt out of the "sale / sharing" of personal information; we do not sell your personal information, and exercising a right will not result in discriminatory treatment.

awwBeauty is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@aww.beauty and we will delete it as required by law.
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes are announced in-app and via public posting, and the "updated" date at the top is revised.
