Fotona 4D

Fotona 4D is usually discussed for early signs of facial aging: mild laxity along the jawline and lower face, softening of nasolabial folds, dull or uneven texture, and enlarged-looking pores. Its distinctive intraoral step heats the perioral and nasolabial region from inside the mouth, an angle that surface-only devices cannot reach. Whether the full four-step protocol—or only part of it—suits a particular face is a judgment that belongs in an in-person consultation.

As a laser-based tightening and resurfacing approach, it works on the skin and the tissue immediately beneath it. It may improve firmness, texture, and overall radiance, but it does not remove fat, restore lost volume the way fillers do, or reposition heavily sagging tissue the way a surgical facelift can. It also differs from radiofrequency and focused-ultrasound tightening devices, which pursue similar goals through different energy types; those are separate procedures with their own trade-offs.
