French Dip

It gives the tidy, formal look of a French manicure with dip powder's typical two-to-four-week wear, and the line does not chip off the tip the way painted polish can. Many salons offer both a hand-shaped smile line and a guided version using a mould or guide strip. It adds no length, so it works on whatever your own nails currently are.

After prep, the base is brushed on and the nude powder is applied across the nail. The technician then works the white along the free edge — either by dipping just the tip, by pouring powder over a defined line, or by using a guide — and blends the boundary before dusting off the excess. A second pass evens the colour, activator hardens the layers, and the surface is filed and sealed with a top coat.
