Lash Lift + Tint
This is the combination most salons recommend by default: a lash lift to curve the lashes upward from the base, followed by a semi-permanent tint that darkens them along their whole length, including the pale tips most people never notice are pale. Curl plus colour is what makes bare lashes read as if mascara is on, which neither step achieves as convincingly on its own.

Overview
The pairing is efficient because both steps happen in one appointment, usually around an hour, and because they wear off on different schedules that happen to overlap well: the lift typically holds around six to eight weeks, the tint around four to six. Many people rebook when the colour goes rather than waiting for the curl to drop completely.
It is worth knowing which part does what. The lift changes shape only; the tint changes colour only. If your lashes are dark already, the tint adds less than you might expect, and the value sits mostly in the tips. If your lashes are fair, the tint often makes the bigger visible difference of the two. Shade options and how long colour holds vary by salon and product line.
How it works
The lift is done first: lower lashes shielded, lashes combed onto a silicone rod, softening lotion then setting lotion, each timed to your lash thickness. With the shape set, the technician applies the tint over the lashes and leaves it for a short development period before removing everything and cleaning the area. A patch test is standard practice for tint — usually at least twenty-four to forty-eight hours before the appointment — and a salon that skips it without asking is cutting a corner that exists for a reason.
