Overview
It is the classic salon French look: clean, formal and photographed at weddings for decades. Because the colour is structural, the line stays sharp through daily wear and refreshes at each fill. Sets are sculpted on forms or built over tips, and can be finished glossy or matte. Expect a longer appointment than a plain acrylic set, since the two powders have to be placed and blended precisely on every nail.
How it works
After standard prep, the technician sculpts the white free edge first, shaping the smile line with the brush, then places the pink or cover powder over the nail bed and blends the junction so no ridge shows. The bead placement determines the apex and the balance of the nail. Once set, the surface is filed and refined until the line looks even across all ten fingers, then buffed to a shine or sealed with a clear top coat.
